Keeping Telephone Conference Call Costs Down
01 | Buy prepaid bridge rental time in time packages.
02 | Avoid per conference call set-up fees.
03 | Avoid operator assisted calls.
04 | Use a flat-fee by the hour bridge vs. by-the-minute-per-person service.
05 | Use a toll bridge vs. a toll-free bridge.
06 | As the call organizer, you can use creative ways
to offset the cost of a potential long distance call for your callers.
01 | Buy prepaid bridge rental time in time packages.
Bridge time packages allow you to purchase bridge rental time at a discount in
a single purchase. Bridge rental time is good for one year and does not have
to be booked all at once.

02 | Avoid per conference call set-up fees.
There is no set-up fee or advanced registration to submit a telebridge
schedule inquiry or
to start using Seek Solutions' /
Rentabridge.com's bridge line / conference calling services. Your account
is opened with your first
purchase of telebridge time.
Some companies require a fee just to set-up a call in addition to your actual call fee.

03 | Avoid operator assisted calls.
Operator assisted calls are usually more expensive and priced
per minute per caller and can cost $100's. Plus, you usually have to provide the phone
numbers of the people calling which is laborious and time consuming for you as the call
organizer.
No operator is necessary to work our telephone bridge lines.
This also allows you to dial right in with out the delay of an operator organizing a call.
Plus, people can call in from any phone number (from anywhere in the world), versus having to call from a
predetermined number or location.

04 | Use a flat-fee by the hour bridge vs. by-the-minute-per-person service.
When you pay a flat-fee for 30, 60, or 100 callers, you know what your expenses are
in advance, which means no surprise bill that comes later. On our telephone conference bridge
there is no per person charge
and your
callers pay their own long distance charges when applicable - usually
are about $3-6 USD/ hour from Mainland USA locations, depending on caller's long distance company.
(If passing the cost on to your caller concerns you read toll vs. toll-free or
creative ways to assume caller costs.)
The charges you pay to Seek Solutions/ Rentabridge.com are based on a
flat fee of $10-$60 dollars per hour depending on whether you buy
a bridge time package of hours for 30, 60 or 100 callers, or not. Again, each
individual caller will incur their own long distance charges depending on what long distance carrier or local toll provider that
they use. No surprises.

05 | Use a toll bridge vs. a toll-free bridge.
Everyone usually saves money.
Most callers are okay with paying for their own long distance
when they realize that an 800 number (toll-free) ranges at minimum from $12-$30 USD per hour PER PERSON,
and inevitably these costs will be past on to them
(e.g., toll free numbers are very expensive and run from
20-50 cents USD per minute per person).
A side note for international callers: Because our phone bridge numbers are not toll-free numbers, our bridge lines are
accessible to international callers, while US 800 numbers (toll-free) are not always available
to international callers from overseas. We do have clients calling in from Europe and Australia frequently, and even China.

06 | As the call organizer, you can use creative ways
to offset the cost of a potential long distance call for your callers, such as:
-
Providing pre-paid calling cards.
Some groups will provide their members with pre-paid calling cards if there
is concern about long distance toll expense.
-
Pointing your roaming 800# to the line you are assigned.
Some clients have a roaming 800# that they can point to any number
through their own long distance provider. Groups who have pointed their
own 800# to our lines pay whatever their cost per minute is for
each person calling in (i.e., if they pay 6 cents per minute, they
would multiple this times 10 callers making it 60 cents
per minute for their call).
Seek Solutions assumes no responsibility for the success or the cost of such usage
,
however, we know it has been done and do not prevent either option. Both options are usually less
expensive alternatives to other toll-free options.
